I wanted a caffeine free chai option that focused on the chai spices themselves and finally finalized this one in February of 2014 I love sipping chai lattes in the evening and so I would work throughout the day on different blends and different ratios and always know it could be just a little bit better. After over a year of formulating, sipping and reformulating, I introduced this blend into the collection in February of 2014. One of my favorite things about this blend is that many of the ingredients have studies that show they help with digestion and immune support! It is also caffeine free, so it is the perfect tea to serve after a dinner party, as a pot of tea to enjoy with the family in the evening, or simply a delicious treat throughout the day! After years of having Kansas Sunset Chai (rooibos chai) taking the forefront of attention here, I knew it was time to create a black tea based chai to provide a rich chai that also contained caffeine.
So the search was on for a black tea that would be able to stand up to the flavors of the bold chai spices! After finding a rich Assam black tea leaf that was both smooth and robust, I knew the final chai blend was not far behind! Using the same chai spices (but different ratios) as found in the Kansas Sunset Chai, I created a delicious black tea based chai that is a perfect addition to any morning routine and it joined the team in November 2016. Try Country Chai Spice with a little cream and honey for a sweet latte like experience at home!
Tiger Fire Chai - Artisan Loose Leaf Rooibos Tea (Caffeine Free) – Organic

Tiger Fire Chai is a bold kick of chai spices. It is spicier than our popular Kansas Sunset Chai as Tiger Fire has peppercorns as well as more ginger! It is fantastic in a latte! Bold kick of chai spices for a robust cup of tea. I finalized this blend in February of 2014 along with Kansas Sunset Chai. I wanted a blend that would focus on the real chai spices but that was a bit extra spicy! It is a rooibos base so there is no caffeine and is perfect to sip after dinner as the ingredients are also fantastic to naturally help with digestion! This brew is perfect to serve with a dash of cream!
I worked on this blend for almost a year and through the entire winter before I finalized it, I had a pot of different formulations simmering on the wood burning stove throughout the day. The smell would fill the house with chai happiness and after dinner we would sip the delicious wellness! I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do!
