Ladies and Gents, please welcome Citrus Medley to the Meet the Blend Monday family! Citrus happiness in a beautiful cup of tea packed with antioxidant rich rooibos, that is how I would describe Citrus Medley, the star of this Meet the Blends Monday! I worked for quite a while to get the right balance of citrus to bring to the party here with Citrus Medley. It was the summer of 2010 that I first introduced this lovely blend into the Leaf Logic Collection. My kids love to join me for tea time, but when they were young there was absolutely no way I was going to pack them full of caffeine. Some parents tell me how their kids can drink caffeine and have little to no effect, but that was NOT the case for me with my kids! My boys especially were definitely still affected by caffeine and their epic energy wasn't something I wanted to heighten! But I still wanted them to be able to join me for tea time and for the antioxidant properties found in rooibos! I love how beautiful and fun this blend looks as well as the delicious taste that sparks joy and a fun dance party on your taste buds! I love to brew this hot with a touch of honey and especially think its fun as an iced tea blend in the summertime! Try it and let me know your favorite way to brew and serve Citrus Medley!
How do I brew it?: Steep 1 rounded teaspoon of tea per 8 oz of water (212 degrees) for 5-7 minutes.Take time to take a few deep breathes and relax. After the tea has reached the desired strength, strain out the loose leaf and savor the superior flavor found in a cup of the Leaf Logic Collection.
