Chai Concentrate is perfect for cups of chai tea or even lattes this fall season!
This is super easy to make for any occasion!
What You’ll Need -
1 - Your favorite Leaf Logic Tea - Kansas Sunset Chai, Country Chai Spice, or Tiger Fire Chai - or grab the Chai Trio Variety Pack so you’ll have them all!
2 - Hot water - to steep the tea to make they concentrate robust.
3 - French Press - These little presses are so useful! I use it to make tea, frothed milked, and so many other yummy things!
4 - A Pitcher/Jar (optional) - These are so aesthetically pleasing for serving your yummy tea or to save for later!
Steps for making Chai Concentrate -
1 - Add your loose leaf tea into the french press - (1 tsp of loose leaf tea per 8 oz of water).
2 - Add your hot water - let it steep for 3-5 minutes, but the longer you steep the more robust the flavor will have.
3 - Let it steep until desired flavor. The longer you leave your infuser in, the more robust your tea will taste if you are using a rooibos based chai. If you are using a black tea chai (like our Country Chai Spice), then you will need to separate the tea concentrate from the loose leaf tea leaves so that it doesn’t get bitter.
4 - After steeping, you can either keep it in your french press and serve it from there or you can pour it into a jar/pitcher for easier serving or to save some for later!
