Calling all who live in and out of the country for this week’s Meet the Blend Monday best-seller!! After years of having Kansas Sunset Chai (rooibos chai) taking the forefront of attention here, I knew it was time to create a black tea based chai to provide a rich chai that also contained caffeine.
So the search was on for a black tea that would be able to stand up to the flavors of the bold chai spices! After finding a rich Assam black tea leaf that was both smooth and robust, I knew the final chai blend was not far behind! Using the same chai spices (but different ratios) as found in the Kansas Sunset Chai, I created a delicious black tea based chai that is a perfect addition to any morning routine and it joined the team in November 2016. Try Country Chai Spice with a little cream and honey for a sweet latte like experience at home!
How do I brew it?: Steep 1 rounded teaspoon of tea per 8 oz of water (212 degrees) for 2-3 minutes.Take time to take a few deep breathes and relax. After the tea has reached the desired strength, strain out the loose leaf and savor the superior flavor found in a cup of the Leaf Logic Collection.
