Immune Support - Echinacea, ginger, dandelion and burdock roots combine with subtle citrus notes and a sweet sarsaparilla linger to support and say thank you to your immune system.
Immune Support is the focus for this Meet the Blends Monday! I created this blend throughout the winter season of 2009 and finalized it and brought it into the collection in February 2010. I wanted a blend that focused on echinacea root but was also delicious to sip throughout the day without feeling like I was drinking medicine. Once I finalized this blend, I was so eager to share it with family, friends, and customers! It is an excellent balance of the powerful echinacea root, activating and warming ginger root, and balanced with plenty of other supportive herbs to nourish and promote healing in the body. I highly recommend this blend throughout the cold and flu season! I definitely recommend brewing this as a long herbal infusion (more info on our blog). Have a couple servings a day to help build the bodies defences, and have up to 5 servings a day if you are already sick… you can have that many servings for up to 2 weeks, but then it's a good idea to hold off for another week or two before starting up again. Check out our website for more information on this amazing blend, how it joined the Leaf Logic collection, all the amazing organic ingredients, brew instructions, serving recommendations, and other herbal side notes and recommendations before you get started with this blend. Thank you all and I hope you all stay happy and healthy!!
