The focus of this Mondays Meet the Blends is this rich and robust blend of golden-tipped Yunnan teas for a mild and smokey brew! Backwoods Armory was created out of a desire for a robust black tea that still had a very smooth and soft feel. I worked to create this blend for about a year. I sourced as many different black teas as I could find and worked with different ratios to have some that contributed to the bold flavor and other to contribute to the soft feel in the mouth. When I finally created this blend in May 2014, I knew it was the one because I drank way too much of it because it was so good and I couldn't stop! I also have found that Backwoods Armory is fantastic iced!! It makes such a delightful iced tea that has more flavor and complexity than any iced black tea you will ever try!

How do I brew it?: Steep 1 rounded teaspoon of tea per 8 oz of water (212 degrees) for 2-3 minutes.Take time to take a few deep breathes and relax. After the tea has reached the desired strength, strain out the loose leaf and savor the superior flavor found in a cup of the Leaf Logic Collection.
