It’s Meet the Blends Monday here at Leaf Logic, and I am excited to introduce the Throat Soothe blend! This blend keeps me singing and talking year round! My passion for herbal teas was born in 2003 when I was a theatre major in college with a vocal issue. All the tea blends tasted disgusting so I had a desire to make a tea for my throat that tasted delicious as well as being effective! These were the herbs that I started working with in the beginning of my herbal research. Then 7 years after starting my herbal studies, in February of 2010, this blend was finalized and it has been a staple in the business story every since! Using pure full leaf ingredients and focusing on a balance of mucilaginous herbs that will coat the throat and heal the damage, this blend will help you naturally soothe and repair your throat! It is naturally a bit sweet, but also delicious with lemon and honey!
How do I brew it?: Steep 1 rounded teaspoon of tea per 8 oz of water (212 degrees) for 5-7 minutes.Take time to take a few deep breathes and relax. After the tea has reached the desired strength, strain out the loose leaf and savor the superior flavor found in a cup of the Leaf Logic Collection.
Herbal Infusion: Steep 1 rounded teaspoon of tea per 8 oz of water (212 degrees) for 15 minutes to 4 hours. This will draw out more of the properties from the herbs and ensure maximum benefits into your tea cup. Strain out the loose leaf and serve hot or over ice.
